Haiti: Operation Hestia

Task Force 3-09 Information

In preparation for deploying to Afgahnistan, Task Force 3-09 is presently involved in
Exercise Desert Ram and Exercise Total Ram.

Land Force Western Area personnel continues to be involved in many Domestic and International Operations.

Domestic Operations are Canadian Forces activities that provide assistance in response to requests from Canadian civil authorities, or from the Canadian public. Requests can be for help of a critical nature such as forest fires, ice storms and flooding, or support for events such as the World Games, local community celebrations and commemorations.

Presently, our soldiers are also deployed to aid many countries in the world under the authority of the Canadian government.
