When We Train

Unit Parade Night: Wednesday evenings, from September through to June, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Who We Are

The King's Own Calgary Regiment (RCAC), located at the Mewata Armoury in Calgary, Alberta is a Reserve force Armoured corp unit that provides reconnaissance support for 41 Canadian Brigade Group.

Our History

The King's Own Calgary Regiment (RCAC) originated in Calgary, Alberta on April 1, 1910, when the 103rd Regiment Calgary Rifles was authorized to be formed. On  March 15, 1920 it was reorganized as two separate regiments, designated The Alberta Regiment (now The South Alberta Light Horse) and The Calgary Regiment.
