Structure

The unit’s fulltime structure consist of a Headquarters element, two full-time training Companies (A and D) and a support company (Admin). Three part-time training companies (B,C&E) are stood up during the Summer training months.

  • A Company is located at 5 CDSB Gagetown;
  • B & C Companies are a part-time (Summer Company) also located at 5 CDSB Gagetown;
  • D Company is located at 5 CDSG Detachment Aldershot;
  • E Company is a part-time (Summer Company) located at 5 CDSG Detachment Aldershot;
  • Admin Coy is located at 5 CDSB Gagetown; and
  • 5 Canadian Division Standards has detachments at both the Gagetown and Aldershot locations.

History

5 CDTC was established in April 1996 following the reorganization of the Armour Battle School.
