When We Train

Unit parade night: Wednesday evenings, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (September – June)

Who We Are

39 Signal Regiment is the Army Reserve signal regiment of 39 Canadian Brigade Group with four squadrons garrisoned in Vancouver, Kelowna, Victoria, and Nanaimo B.C. 

Our mission is to provide rapid and secure communications and information technology support to units within 39 Canadian Brigade Group, thereby providing commanders with effective command and control over their troops.

New Leopard 2 Armoured Engineer Vehicle is ‘the natural evolution’

Edmonton, Alberta — As part of the Force Mobility Enhancement (FME) project, the Canadian Army (CA) began receiving 18 new and improved Leopard 2 Armoured Engineer Vehicles (Leo 2 AEVs) in late fall 2017 to provide critical support to the CA’s Leopard 2 main battle tanks, Light Armoured Vehicles, Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicles and future fleets.

  •  741 Signal Squadron in Esquimalt
  •  748 Signal Squadron in Nanaimo
  • 744 Signal Squadron in Vancouver
