Oromocto Leisure Services

Leisure Services is a department of the Town of Oromocto whose mission it is to ensure the availability of quality leisure time opportunities for the citizens of Oromocto. In fulfilling this mission the Department will take a pro-active role as facilitator, planner, creator, developer, provider, manager and promoter where required. This mission is accomplished by providing opportunities that will enable all residents to enjoy leisure by assisting community organizations and groups with human and material resources, and by coordinating the use of existing physical, financial and human resources.

The Department provides direct programming of leisure time opportunities ensuring that something exists for everyone. The Department operates, maintains and schedules a wide variety of facilities including the King's Arrow Arena, fitness trails, parks and playgrounds, soccer fields, ball diamonds, track and field facilities, wading pools, Community Centre, Tot Lots and meeting rooms. The Department of Leisure Services is also responsible for Town Tourism initiatives.
