Operations Branch
The Operations Branch is responsible to the Commander 3 ASG for the coordination of the Area wide support through a combination of static and deployable assets to Land Forces units and elements and other assigned dependencies. In general terms, the responsibilities attributed to this Branch are as follows:
- Establishment of priorities and direction of all ongoing activities in the Training Area to maximize efficient use of resources;
- Ensure the safe and secure operation of the Ranges and Training Areas (RTA) in the provinces of NB and PEI;
- Coordination of the 3 ASG personnel augmentation requirements to current International Operations;
- Coordination of the Wildland Fire Management; and
- Development of a Training Area Management Plan.
