Administration Branch

Administration Branch performs a variety of tasks under the direction of the 3 ASG Commanding Officer Administration Branch who is double-hatted as the G1. Services relating to the welfare of military members and their dependants are provided to all units by over 200 military and civilian personnel, as well as full and part-time Non-Public Fund employees.

The sections within the Branch include Food Services, Personnel Support Program, Military Personnel Support Services, Accommodation, Postal, Personnel Selection Office, Chaplain services and the Language School. The Canadian Forces Housing Agency and the Civilian Human Resources Office, although not part of Administration Branch, work very closely with Branch senior staff to ensure that the needs of the military and civilian personnel are met.

The Administration Branch provides a large selection of amenities. These include many recreation clubs, the GAGE Golf and Curling Centre, the Military Museum and the Military Family Resource Centre. The Deputy Judge Advocate and the Area Social Work Office also operate very closely with the Branch.
