Our mission
Strengthen the ties amongst Kingston’s military community by keeping its members and their families well-informed through the provision of a high-quality communications-tool.
About us
The Garrison has been the CFB Kingston Base newspaper since September 24, 2008. The Garrison is published every two weeks and is available free of charge.
Print copies of the newspaper are available at various points around CFB Kingston. You can also arrange for free home-delivery.
Current and past issues of the newspaper are also available on our website.
The Garrison is your newspaper. It keeps you connected to your garrison by letting you know what’s happening on the Base and in the community. As a community newspaper, it reaches serving members, their families and the many civilian employees who work on the Base.
Content is produced by members of the garrison, for members of the garrison. Contributing articles to The Garrison is free, making it an excellent tool for keeping in touch with your garrison!
The publication is moving towards becoming a completely bilingual newspaper. To make this transition as easy as possible for our contributors, we take care of the translation of all of the articles we receive.
