Accommodations
Personnel who require accommodations
other than Military Quarters (MQs) are housed in CFB Kingston single
quarters at locations around the Base, according to rank, purpose
and length of stay.
Junior Ranks posted to the base are housed
in Building B-77, in the northwest corner of McNaughton Barracks at
1 Sadie Ave. It is of modular construction, consisting of 208 single
rooms, with shared washroom facilities. Each “Module” has up to a
maximum of 10 occupants, a comfortable lounge, a patio, storage
lockers and a shared washer/dryer. Dining Hall facilities are also
available. B-77 is located within short walking distance of the
Junior Ranks Mess and Canex.
Sr NCOs posted to the base are housed in Building B-76 in the
northwest corner of McNaughton Barracks at 1 Sadie Ave. It is of
modular construction, consisting of 68 single rooms, with shared
washroom facilities. Each “Module” has up to a maximum of 10
occupants, a comfortable lounge, a patio, storage lockers and a
shared washer/dryer. Dining Hall facilities are also available. B-76
is within walking distance of the WOs & Sgts’ Mess.
Officers posted to the Base are housed in Building
C-46, at 3 Princess Royal Ave. Unique in design; it consists of 30
single rooms with adjoining washrooms and 16 Senior Officer suites
of a “Hayloft” design (sitting room with upper floor bedroom and
washroom). Amenities include storage closets, spot room cleaning
services, laundry room facilities and convenient parking. C-46 is
located beside the Officers’ Mess.
All personnel requiring single quarters are
to request accommodations by message or by e-mail to BACCN prior to
arrival at CFB Kingston. Messages and e-mails shall indicate gender,
TD dates, purpose, and financial coding. Personnel arriving with
intent to move off base within 21 days after arrival should inform
the IRPP and MPSS section upon in-clearance.
