Welcome to 39 Canadian Brigade Group - your Army Reserve in British Columbia. You'll find everything you want to know about the Army Reserve and the Canadian Forces, from the work we do on behalf of Canadians at home and around the world, to how we train, and how you too can join the Canadian Forces.

Our mission is to recruit, and train soldiers and leaders to support operations at home and overseas. With over 1200 part-time and full-time members serving, we stand ready to assist Canadians on the West Coast when needed.

As reservists we are dedicated to helping others and train part-time throughout the year while maintaining civilian careers or going to school. Many have put their civilian careers and education on hold, or taken time off work to serve for as long as 12 months with the Canadian Army in Afghanistan, Bosnia, the Middle East or Africa
