1 CMBG Crest1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (1 CMBG) is a Canadian Forces brigade group that is part of Land Force Western Area within the Canadian Army.

1 CMBG is based in CFB Edmonton, Alberta with two major units at CFB Shilo, Manitoba and consists of seven Regular Force units.

The 1 CMBG crest (pictured right) is the official badge that represents the brigade group. At the top is the Queen's Crown which appears on every Canadian Forces crest.

The ram's head represents the brigade's orgins in the Western Canadian Provinces while the numeral 1 over the red background indicates that 1 CMBG is the 1st Brigade group within the historical context of being part of 1st Division.

1 CMBG's Latin motto Semper Vigilans translates to "Ever Vigilant".
